Spirit n JazzJazz as an expression of spiritual thoughts?!
The music continues when words fail... Meeting up at Tutto-Vanità-Studio these jazz guys had no special goal. They just talked about the big themes of life and the universe, They started jamming and playing together like never before. they found, that the tracks they were creating somehow expressed what they had been talking about - and beyond. There was a special spirit in the music which kept them going. They left the machines running and caught the ideas just as they happened… Thus Spirit´n´Jazz was born out of an idea of building bridges between cultures and using music as that "Voice of Reason" in this difficult and chaotic world. In the CD-booklet and in the concerts the themes of the tracks are made evident by combining them with quotations from books of world religions, the Bible and the Quran. The title "Can you see...?" is the question within us all, Can you see those bridges we need to build between us, can you see what it is we have in common, can you see those connections...?
